Prior to your first appointment, we will have a brief 15 minute telephone consultation where you may share your reasons for seeking help, ask any questions you have, and we can begin to determine how I can help. I will then forward you some documents to review and complete in preparation for our first assessment appointment. All services are tailored to fit your individual needs.

I am not affiliated with any insurance companies, all my services are paid out-of-pocket. Sliding scale fee may be available for individual sessions. Depending on your insurance, you may be able to submit a claim for out-of-network reimbursement.
If I am providing psychotherapy to you, I can provide a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement.
Questions to ask your insurer:
• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• Will you cover LCAT’s (licensed creative arts therapists) for psychotherapy?
• How much is my deductible?
• How many visits per year are covered?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician?

No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client.
However, due to being a mandated reporter there are some exceptions which include:
Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse. As a mandated reporter I am required to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person, I am required to notify the police.
If a client intends to harm themselves, I will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate or if there continues to be safety concerns, additional measures may need to be taken.

I accept credit/debit card payment. If meeting in person, I also accept cash or check.

When we begin our work together, you will be asked to sign a policy agreement and consent forms. I require a minimum of 24 hours notice via telephone message, or email if you need to cancel. Failure to provide this notice will result in a full charge for the appointment.
